Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited (AASL) has achieved a historic milestone by recording the highest number of passenger movements in a single month.
In January 2026, Sri Lanka Airports facilitated 1,045,097 passengers, surpassing the previous record of 1,034,687 passengers set in January 2018.
This remarkable achievement reflects the steady growth of the country’s aviation sector and the increasing confidence of travelers choosing Sri Lanka as a destination and transit hub.
